The 2025 German iF Design Award has been officially announced, and Autobio's fully automatic biochemistry analyzer, the AutoChem B2000 series, has been recognized by international authorities for its novel design, excellent innovation, and powerful functions. The AutoChem B2000 series stood out among many entries to win the German iF Design Award 2025, the world's top industrial design award.
Since its inception in 1954, the iF Design Award has been selected annually by the Hannover Industrial Design Forum, Germany's oldest industrial design organization. Renowned for its "independent, rigorous, and reliable" evaluation concept, the iF Design Award has gained international recognition as one of the most prestigious awards in contemporary industrial design. It is regarded as one of the world's top three design awards, alongside the Red Dot Award and the IDEA Award.Winners of the iF Design Award demonstrate innovation, functionality, and aesthetic appeal, representing the pinnacle of design excellence and trendsetting innovation in today's design landscape. It represents the highest level and innovation trend of today's design industry, and is known as the "Oscar" of the design industry. The AutoChem B2000 series is designed to provide large-scale medical laboratories with biochemical analysis solutions for accurate detection, intelligent analysis, and flexible expansion.
After nearly three years of unremitting efforts, Autobio has created this series of fully automated biochemistry analyzers, and has successfully won 36 patents for its outstanding technological innovations. The detection throughput of a single module has reached 2,000 tests/hour, and the ion detection has reached 600 tests/hour. The system can be expanded to a maximum of 4 modules. The new durable liquid system, stable incubation system, and convenient operation and interactive experience deliver more accurate test results, simpler operation, and more worry-free expansion and upgrading modes, providing flexible laboratory solutions for large-scale medical laboratories.
The AutoChem B2000's exterior boasts an undulating layered design reminiscent of high mountains and flowing water, complemented by "green belt" design elements that infuse it with unceasing vitality. This aesthetic melds mobility and elegance with simplicity, reflecting its advanced functionality. The light green, transparent cover of each module resembles the surface of a quiet lake, symbolizing the stability and precision of the inspection process while allowing users to safely observe the operation of the internal moving parts. The intelligent interactive status light design enhances the technology and professional atmosphere of the laboratory.
In terms of functional design, the dual reagent trays can use up to 180 reagent positions and support non-stop reagent loading design, with two independent sample needles for synergistic sampling, which greatly improves operational efficiency. The separate emergency sample track and emergency-specific sample positions can be used to activate emergency mode with a single click to shorten the TAT (turn- around time) and ensure the accuracy of test results, providing reliable support for emergency clinical decision-making.The instrument can analyze and compare basic and system parameters, enabling post-processing of many abnormal samples and facilitating the effective management and analysis of complex clinical samples and scenarios.
The AutoChem B2000 series is a testament to Autobio's design, innovation, and manufacturing capabilities, as recognized by international industrial design professionals. Building on the success of the A6200 series and AutoLas X-1 pipeline, Autobio continues to prioritize product design and operation experience, focusing on instrument detection performance, stability, and other critical indicators. Our goal is to provide medical laboratories with a comprehensive suite of products and services that enhance human health.
