On October 21st, Prof. Sergio Bernardini, Secretary General of the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC), and his delegation visited Autobio for an in-depth exchange of views on the latest research results and cutting-edge technologies in the field of laboratory medicine and international academic cooperation.

Professor Sergio Bernardini is a highly regarded expert in laboratory medicine. He currently serves as Secretary General of the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC) and is a full professor at the University of Tor Vergata, the Second University of Rome, where he also holds the position of Director of Clinical Molecular Biology at the hospital affiliated to the university. He has considerable experience in clinical molecular biology, pediatrics and clinical biochemistry, and has a strong background in theoretical research and clinical practice. 

During his visit to China's first Museum of Laboratory Medicine, Prof. Sergio Bernardini gained a comprehensive understanding of the 3000-year history of laboratory medicine through a variety of resources, including artifacts, informative texts, images and video materials, as well as numerous anecdotes from domestic and international figures in the field. He also expressed admiration for the rapid development and achievements of Chinese laboratory medicine over the past decades. In the intelligent laboratory showroom of Autobio, international business staff provided detailed introductions to the latest products in the company's portfolio, spanning immunology, biochemistry, microbiology, molecular, coagulation and precision testing. This showcased Autobio's robust R&D capabilities and market competitiveness across multiple fields, which the expert found highly impressive.
