The 2024 German iF Design Award, the world's most esteemed industrial design accolade, has recently been officially announced. The AutoLumo A6200 series, a fully automated chemiluminescent immunoassay analyser from Autobio, has been awarded the 2024 German iF Design Award in recognition of its innovative design, powerful functions and excellent overall performance, which set it apart from numerous other products in the field.

The iF Design Award was established in 1954 by Germany's longest-standing institution for industrial design, the Hannover Industrial Design Forum. The award is selected annually based on an evaluation concept that is "independent, rigorous and reliable," and has gained international recognition. The iF Design Award is internationally recognised as a prestigious accolade in the field of contemporary industrial design. It is one of the world's top three design awards, along with the Red Dot Award and the IDEA Award. Winners of the iF Design Award are innovative, functional and aesthetically pleasing, representing the highest level of innovation and creativity in the design world today. Winners of the iF design award represent the pinnacle of design excellence, showcasing the most innovative and creative work in the industry. They are regarded as the 'Oscars' of the design world.

The AutoLumo A6200 series is a fully automated chemiluminescent immunoassay analyser with an online detection speed of up to 2400 T/H. It offers the benefits of 'extremely fast detection, easy to use, expanding interconnection, safety and reliability', which can meet the needs of high-throughput, space-constrained large-scale immunoassay analysers. This product is ideal for large and medium-sized medical laboratories and hospitals with high throughput and limited space. The high degree of automation significantly improves efficiency, while the dual-core, reliable design provides laboratories with automatic, efficient, safe, accurate, reliable and flexible solutions.

In terms of functional design, the AutoLumo A6200 series employs a dual-core configuration with double backup for key components, effectively reducing the probability of downtime. A single analysis module is capable of supporting up to 5,000 human reagents, representing over 100 different types. It also features automatic retesting and water curtain vacuum cleaning with 5-step swimming magnetic separation technology, ensuring thorough cleaning and accurate testing. The reagent tray is independently refrigerated and can be read using RF code scanning technology. RF scanning technology enables the reading and recording of reagent consumption, thereby reducing the likelihood of errors in reagent loading. The automatic arrangement of reaction cups and automatic proportioning design of cleaning solution reduce the need for manual intervention. Multiple immune or biochemical online processes can be expanded into modular or TLA assembly lines.
