Autobio IVD Industrial Park played host to a cross-border gathering in the spring breeze of the Central Plains. From March 25th to 27th, partners from dozens of countries and regions around the world gathered in Zhengzhou. The agenda included a site visit to the company's research and development, intelligent production, entering China's first medical testing museum, and participation in the Partner Forum meeting. These activities laid the foundation for a new chapter of cooperation, focused on win-win collaboration and common development.
At the Partner Forum meeting, the theme of which was "Embrace Brand New", the executive vice president of Autobio, Mr. Fu Guangyu, delivered a speech in which he stated that in the first three quarters of 2024, Autobio's R&D investment of 511 million yuan accounted for 15.1% of the revenue, and that this investment is the strength and backbone of their innovation, strength and bottom line. He highlighted that the in vitro diagnostics industry is experiencing significant transformation, driven by the integration of artificial intelligence and the evolution of competition, which is shifting from a "solo fight" to a more collaborative "ecological synergy" model.
At the recently concluded CACLP exhibition, Autobio showcased three significant highlights: an intelligent laboratory that enables full-process automation, a one-stop testing solution that rapidly enhances efficiency in precision testing, and the revitalisation of traditional product lines through technological upgrading. These elements embody Autobio's innovative capabilities.
In 2024, Autobio's international sales continued to grow, with the establishment of three bases in Hungary, Indonesia and Hong Kong, marking the transition from "products to the sea" to "localisation of services". The products have been exported to more than 100 countries, and more than 300 international registration certificates have been obtained. The products have been exported to more than 100 countries and obtained more than 300 international registration certificates.
As Mr. Fu Guangyu stated, "The stage of Autobio is not only in China." In the future, Autobio will continue to promote technological breakthroughs and build a smart testing ecosystem with its global partners. The National Enterprise Technology Center, the National Engineering Research Center for Detection of Emerging and Sudden Infectious Diseases, and other innovation platforms will play a key role in this initiative. By working together, we can ensure that accurate testing benefits the world.
At the Autobio R&D and Manufacturing Center, partners gained hands-on experience with the manufacturing capabilities of the entire process, from module production to complete machine assembly. At China's first Laboratory Medicine Museum, visitors can trace the evolution of the in vitro diagnostics industry, from manual operations to modern intelligence, through ancient microscopes, early detection instruments, and other valuable exhibits. In the Autobio Intelligent Laboratory Showroom, guests can witness the transition from immunoassay to precision testing, from intelligent assembly lines to "intelligent testing." From immunoassay to precision testing, from intelligent assembly line to "AI test clinical decision-making system," the international business staff introduced the latest products of Autobio in many fields of in vitro diagnostics.
A Southeast Asian partner commented on their visit, stating, "Autobio's robust R&D capabilities and extensive product line are impressive, and the comprehensive coverage of its product line and the rapid pace of technological advancement have established a new standard for in vitro diagnostic enterprises."
From intelligent manufacturing to cutting-edge innovation, from localization to global layout, Autobio is forging a new chapter in the field of in vitro diagnostics, collaborating with global partners in an open and inclusive manner. As we look ahead to 2025, we eagerly anticipate further growth and the creation of new milestones in the realm of global in vitro diagnostics.
