On April 13th, Autobio successfully held the 3rd European Biominds Talks Conference on Microbiology Laboratory Tests, and carried out in-depth academic exchanges with international experts. The conference brought together nearly 100 leading experts and scholars in the field to discuss future developments in microbiological testing technology.
Fu Guangyu, Executive Vice President of Autobio, delivered a keynote address in which he reviewed the company's 27 years of development. He highlighted the company's commitment to technological innovation as a core element of its strategy, underscoring its extensive product registrations, which encompass immunology, microbiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, coagulation, and related fields. Within the Chinese market, Autobio's products have a market coverage rate exceeding 60% in tertiary hospitals, with a prominent market share in numerous projects. On the global stage, the company has obtained nearly 400 IVDR certificates, and its products are sold in over 100 countries and regions. Notably, the installed volume of Autobio's instruments in many European countries is continuously increasing.
During the meeting, a number of internationally renowned experts shared the latest findings from their research.
Professor Charles Alfred Iain Goodall emphasised the significance of exogenous group research in analysing disease mechanisms and advocated for the enhancement of interdisciplinary collaboration in the domain of environment and health. Professor Alper Akçalı presented the "sterile colony" culture workflow. Prof. Dr. Alper Akçalı's presented the"colonyless" culture process. He providedexamples of microbial identificationwithout solid colony growth, using massspectrometry to reduce processing time,.and providing new ideas for automationand intelligence in microbialidentification; Prof. Dr. Sebahat Aksaray introduced the advantages of antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) and MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry for drug sensitivity testing, and suggested that laboratories optimize their processes to improve efficiency. Gheyath K. Nasrallah, Ph. Nasrallah PhD analysed the resistance mechanism and transmission characteristics of the emerging pathogenic fungus Candida otitis, emphasising the need for innovation in prevention and control strategies.
As a strategic location for the global healthcare industry, Europe has top medical R&D strength and huge market capacity. The recent academic conference provided a valuable platform for the recognition and evaluation of Autobio's innovative ideas and product solutions by leading European experts and scholars.
